> What is Campus Technology 2010?
As one of higher education’s most trusted providers of information on education technology, Campus Technology conferences provide attendees with the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge technologies that drive student achievement both in and out of the classroom. Campus Technology conferences are the companion live events to the award-winning Campus Technology magazine, the only monthly publication focusing exclusively on the use of technology across all areas of higher education. Campus Technology’s standard of excellence is demonstrated by the high quality and commitment of the speakers it presents, along with an exhibit hall that features the latest in education technology products and services.

> ADA Compliance and Special Meal Restrictions
If you have a specific allergy(s) or are a vegetarian and require modifications to the general lunch, please contact Sara Ross at sross@1105media.com or at 1.972.506.9027.  The Seaport World Trade Center is ADA compliant.


> What meals are included with registration?
Coffee and tea service will be available before sessions begin in the morning. For all paid attendees, lunch is provided Monday - Wednesday. Please check your conference hotel’s list of dining options for information on meals not included in your registration package.


> How can I find out about leisure activities near the conference site in Boston?
The Seaport World Trade Center is located less than three miles from Logan International Airport, making a convenient base for exploring the city on foot, via cab, water taxi or by T train. The Seaport World Trade Center is within walking distance of the New England Aquarium, the Boston Children’s Museum, the Boston Design Center, and the Bank of America Pavilion for music lovers. The hotel is also just minutes from the city’s famous Financial District, the Back Bay, North and South Ends, Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox. HOTEL/TRAVEL/SHUTTLES

> I am driving to the conference. Will there be parking available?
Both valet and self-park is available at Seaport’s Garage, located beneath the Seaport Hotel. Access from the street is available on D Street, B Street, Seaport Boulevard, and Congress Street. Event parking rates are as follows: valet option: $31; self park option; $19; exhibitors: $19.


> How can I get from the airport to the hotel?
The Seaport Hotel is located three miles from Boston’s Logan International Airport. Transportation from the airport will need to be arranged via taxi, rental car or the MBTA Silver Line rapid bus system, which stops near the hotel (five- or 10-minute walk). For rental car information and discounts, see the Hotel & Travel section of this website.

Estimated one-way taxi fare from Logan Airport is $30-$40. If you travel via the Silver Line rapid bus system, you will exit at the World Trade Center stop.

 NETWORKING

> How can I network with peers who have similar interests?
Campus Technology 2010 offers many opportunities for peer-to-peer networking and conversation. These opportunities include the Exhibit Hall opening reception, as well as coffee breaks and other informal networking opportunities that will allow you to learn and share in smaller group settings. Our Roundtable Lunches, held on Tuesday and Wednesday, allow you to network with other conference attendees and speakers who share your professional interests.

These opportunities will be listed in the Conference Program.

You can also participate in pre-conference networking with paid attendees by checking the "Attendee Networking" box when you register. Prior to the conference you have an opportunity to introduce yourself to other attendees and arrange to meet for lunch, dinner or during other break times to meet and network.


REGISTRATION

> Where can I request a receipt?You will receive an official receipt on your badge when you check in at the conference. However, if you need a receipt before you arrive, you may request one by writing to Campus Technology 2010 Registration, 1277 University of Oregon, Eugene, OR 97403-1277, or by calling the registration office at 800.280.6218. Receipts are processed weekly.


> Where can I obtain your federal tax ID information for my accounting department?
Our federal tax ID number is 20-4583700.


> Do you accept Purchase Orders?
If you would like to use a Purchase Order to register, you may either input the information into the online registration form or fax the PO form with your registration to 541.346.3545.


> How can I make changes to my registration?
You can make changes to your registration by using your confirmation code to access your registration record and make changes. You may also request changes to your registration by writing to Campus Technology 2010 Registration, 1277 University of Oregon, Eugene, OR 97403-1277, or by phone at 800.280.6218.


> What if I need to cancel my registration?
A 100% refund less a $100 processing fee will be given for all cancellations requested by June 18, 2010. After June 18, no refunds will be given; however, all registrations are transferable to colleagues and associates with written authorization from the original registrant.


 > If I cancel my conference registration will my hotel room be cancelled as well?
No, these are handled separately. You will need to call your conference hotel directly. See your hotel reservation confirmation for additional information and telephone numbers.


> Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, if you include your e-mail address you will receive an e-mail acknowledging your conference registration. A formal confirmation will be sent to you approximately four weeks prior to the event. 


TECHNICAL

> Will there be printers available for attendee use?
No, printers are not provided for use by attendees. However most conference hotels have a business center with support services for your business needs.


> Can I connect my laptop to the Internet from the conference?
Yes. Wireless access will be available at the event. Please bring your wireless network card with you. However, please note that the signal may not reach all rooms and locations where the conference is being held. The access point will be located in a general area to provide the best access to all attendees. Technical support is not available to assist you in troubleshooting your wireless access card.
 


> Are there modem lines available for me to dial to my local ISP or wireless access?


No modem lines will be available to attendees at the conference. If you need a hard line connection to the internet, most conference hotels offer such services for a fee.
