Campus Technology Forum 2012 offers participants a variety of meeting structures designed to maximize participant networking and collaborative learning.
Types of Sessions:
General Sessions with Keynotes:
The general sessions provide an opportunity for all conference attendees to gather at once. CT FORUM 2012 general sessions feature engaging keynote speakers who will present important topics and content reflecting the prevailing themes of the conference. These highly regarded professionals are passionate about sharing their expertise with audiences and this year we are pleased to feature two dynamic keynote speakers.
NEW Featured Sessions:
In-depth concurrent sessions extended to 80 minutes. Each featured session focuses on one of the most active areas of change in higher education IT and is presented by leaders and innovators within those arenas. From mobiles, to the cloud, to digital content—featured sessions examine compelling issues affecting all higher education professionals. These longer sessions allow time for detailed response panel commentary and attendee discussion.
Breakout Sessions:
50 minute concurrent session held in breakout meeting rooms set theater style. Attendees have an excellent selection of sessions to choose from, each presented by experts and innovators who are making a difference across the IT profession and higher education. They’ll share lessons learned, innovative ideas, leadership strategies, and give you new and valuable perspectives as well as offering solutions to challenging IT problems.
3-Hour Seminar Intensives:
Offered in a classroom setting that will allow participants to experience technology and interact with peers. These hands-on seminar intensives provide opportunities to examine the latest technologies and practice implementing technological tools and solutions. You’ll be able to take away your learning to use at your institution without delay. From integrating iPads, to cloud computing, to effective leadership strategies, there are plenty of relevant session topics higher ed professionals won’t want to miss!
Poster Sessions:
Held in the Exhibit Hall in designated poster areas, featuring detailed graphic displays of innovative projects. Talk one-on-one with innovators eager to share their promising ideas, solutions, current research and best practices in higher education. This is a great opportunity to network and speak with others facing challenging IT issues.
